What utility work do you actually do?

Water lines, sewer lines, and utility trenching and hookups — running service from the meter or main out to a house, shop, barn, or other structure, and connecting it up. If it’s a line that has to go in the ground, that’s our work.

Do you call 811 before digging utility lines?

Every time. Texas law requires notifying 811 before excavation so existing lines get located and marked. It’s free, it’s fast, and it exists because hitting a gas line or cutting fiber is dangerous and expensive. We don’t skip it.

How much does it cost to run a water line to my property?

It depends on distance, depth, soil conditions, and what the line has to cross. A short run through sandy loam costs far less than a long run through caliche or under a driveway. We come out, look at the route, and give you a free estimate based on the actual conditions.

How deep do water lines have to be buried?

Deep enough to stay below the frost line and protected from surface loads, with the exact depth set by local code and the type of line. Too shallow risks freezing and damage. We bury to code depth, not to whatever’s fastest.

Can you run a water line out to a barn, shop, or well house?

Yes. Running service out to outbuildings is regular work for us — barns, shops, well houses, livestock waterers, and shop bathrooms. We trench it, lay it, and connect it.

Can you connect my property to city sewer?

Where a city sewer main is available, yes. We can run and connect the service line. Some connections require a permit and inspection by the city, and there may be a tap or connection fee from the utility. We’ll walk you through what applies before we start.

What if city sewer isn’t available at my property?

Then you’re looking at a septic system, which is our main line of work. We can evaluate your property, handle the site evaluation and permitting, and install a system sized for your household. See our septic services for the full picture.

Can you replace an old or leaking water line?

Yes. Old galvanized or damaged lines that leak or have lost pressure can be replaced. If you’re seeing unexplained wet spots, a jump in your water bill, or pressure that’s dropped off, that’s often a line problem worth looking at before it gets worse.

Do you trench for electrical or fiber conduit?

We dig the trench and place conduit. The electrical connections themselves are done by a licensed electrician, and the utility company handles their own terminations. We coordinate so the trench is ready when they are.

Do I need a permit for utility work?

Often yes, depending on your city or county and what’s being connected. Sewer connections and work in a right-of-way or easement generally require permitting and inspection. We check what applies to your property before any digging starts.

Can you bore under a driveway or sidewalk instead of cutting it?

In many cases we can route around or under existing concrete rather than tearing it out. Where that isn’t practical, we can cut, run the line, and pour the concrete back — since we do concrete work too, that all stays with one crew.

How long does a utility line installation take?

Short runs can go quickly. Long runs, hard soil, obstacles to cross, and waiting on 811 locates or utility company scheduling all add time. We give you a realistic timeline up front and tell you if something changes.

Will you tear up my whole yard?

We keep disturbance to what the job actually requires and backfill and clean up when we’re done. Trenching does disturb ground, and we’re honest about that rather than promising you’ll never know we were there.

Can you handle the utilities, septic, and concrete for a new build?

Yes, and that’s the efficient way to do it. Trenching for utilities, installing the septic system, prepping the pad, and pouring the concrete all with one crew means one schedule and one point of accountability instead of four contractors coordinating around each other.
